Alexie has a neat, compact body that you can carry via the curved top handles or the adjustable shoulder strap. Made from soft-textured leather, it has an open top to carry your book, water bottle and daily essentials inside. Lined with micro suede, it includes an internal tie closure, but was designed for girls who don’t mind a bit of rough and tumble. Alexie has been lovingly detailed with with hand painted edges and a flat base with protective feet.

I really like the Alexie tote in taupe. It’s practical (as it holds a lot), but also beautiful and of high quality. As others have commented, it has a strong smell (I’m guessing it’s due to the glue and processes involved in its construction). I’ve left it in another room until the smell lessens. However, I would happily buy it again in another color, as it’s beauty, high quality and functionality, outweigh the smell.
